Choosing a clinic

Does Elite TRT provide Australia-wide telehealth?

Yes. Elite TRT provides Australia-wide telehealth for testosterone deficiency assessment and selected areas of men’s health, including sexual health, male hair loss and weight management. Consultations are with Australian-registered doctors.

The treating doctor assesses your individual circumstances and determines whether treatment, prescribing or monitoring is appropriate. Explore our services or see how telehealth care works.

How do I compare TRT clinics in Australia?

Compare who provides the medical assessment, how follow-up and pathology are arranged, and what each clinic fee includes. Ask how to verify the treating doctor’s registration. Check initial referral costs and medication costs separately from ongoing clinic care.

At Elite TRT, the standard ongoing TRT clinic fee is $360 per three-month period and includes the scheduled TRT consultation, prescriptions where clinically appropriate, one routine pathology referral per review period, care management, administration and non-clinical check-ins with our team. Medication, initial referrals and additional consultations, letters and pathology referrals are charged separately. Read our fees, see the assessment process or ask the team a question. The most appropriate clinic depends on your individual care needs.

Is Elite TRT an online pharmacy?

No. Elite TRT provides telehealth medical assessment and clinic support. If your doctor issues a prescription following assessment, your eScript is sent directly to you. You may use a pharmacy of your choice, subject to its dispensing requirements and availability. Medication is paid for separately at that pharmacy’s price. Elite TRT does not add a markup to medication costs. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription. Optional pharmacy delivery may attract a shipping charge.

Getting started

Do I need blood tests before I start?

For a testosterone deficiency assessment, recent pathology is required. If you need testing, begin with our short pathology request. If you already have suitable results, upload them with your comprehensive health questionnaire.

Initial pathology is not routinely required for sexual health, hair loss or weight management. The doctor may request tests where appropriate.

What does the initial $30 cover?

The $30 covers the doctor’s review of your information and preparation of an initial pathology referral, where appropriate. It is a referral fee, separate from any pathology provider charges. A further comprehensive referral, if needed, costs another $30.

Do I need the comprehensive questionnaire straight away?

If you need initial testosterone pathology, use the short pathology request first. If you have suitable results, are transferring care or are seeking another men’s health service, use the comprehensive questionnaire.

Can the free call tell me whether I’m eligible?

No. It is an administration call about our services, process and fees. Clinical suitability is assessed by the doctor.

Fees & pathology

What does the $360 ongoing fee include?

The standard $360 fee covers a three-month period of ongoing TRT clinic care: the scheduled TRT consultation, prescriptions where clinically appropriate, one routine pathology referral per review period, care management, administration and non-clinical check-ins with our team. Scheduled TRT consultations and doctor-requested reviews associated with prescription renewal are included. Additional patient-requested doctor consultations are $120, travel letters $50, clinical summary letters or referrals to other doctors $50, and extra pathology referrals $30. These extra services are charged separately. If your doctor issues a prescription following assessment, your eScript is sent directly to you. You may use a pharmacy of your choice, subject to its dispensing requirements and availability. Medication is paid for separately at that pharmacy’s price. Elite TRT does not add a markup to medication costs. Optional pharmacy delivery may attract a shipping charge. See our clinic fees.

Are ongoing pathology referrals included?

Your $360 review-period fee includes one routine pathology referral for scheduled monitoring. Additional pathology referrals beyond that inclusion cost $30 each. Initial assessment referrals remain separate: $30 initially and a further $30 comprehensive referral if required.

What happens if I’m found unsuitable after the consultation?

The current policy provides a refund of the clinic fee less $120 for the doctor’s consultation and review time where you are found unsuitable, or decide not to proceed following consultation. This policy no longer applies once medication has been prescribed.

Initial and comprehensive pathology referral fees are non-refundable. See the current terms and contact the team if you need clarification before paying.

Where do I get my medication?

If your doctor issues a prescription following assessment, your eScript is sent directly to you. You may use a pharmacy of your choice, subject to its dispensing requirements and availability. Medication is paid for separately at that pharmacy’s price. Elite TRT does not add a markup to medication costs. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription. Optional pharmacy delivery may attract a shipping charge.

Ongoing care

Can your doctors provide travel or workplace letters?

Yes. Doctors can provide appropriate supporting letters for prescribed treatment, including travel, employers and FIFO or mining work. Contact administration with the requirements. Acceptance by an employer or overseas authority cannot be guaranteed. Travel letters cost $50. Clinical summary letters or referrals to other doctors cost $50. These are additional fees outside the $360 review-period inclusions. The team can explain the requirements before a letter is prepared.

How often are TRT reviews required?

Generally every three months. For suitable patients who have remained stable for an extended period, the doctor may consider four-month intervals. The schedule can be adjusted based on clinical need.

How do I receive my pathology results?

Once Elite TRT has received and processed the results, a copy is sent to your nominated email address. If you use a collection provider different from the one listed on the referral, notify the clinic of the provider and collection date so the team can follow up.

Is a prescription guaranteed?

No. The doctor assesses your individual circumstances and determines whether treatment or a prescription is appropriate.

Will treatment be lifelong?

Duration depends on the diagnosis, circumstances, response and ongoing medical review. Your doctor discusses the relevant options, risks and monitoring as part of your care.

Transfers & other services

Can I transfer from another clinic?

Yes. We can review transfer-of-care requests. You will need supporting information about your original diagnosis, current treatment and recent monitoring. A current pharmacy dispensing label clearly showing your printed name and current medication, or current clinical information from your treating clinic or doctor, can support your transfer review. See the transfer pathway.

Do sexual health and hair loss consultations require blood tests?

Initial pathology is not routinely required. Start with the health questionnaire and select your service. The doctor may request investigations where clinically appropriate.

How often are other services reviewed?

Sexual health and hair loss reviews are generally four-monthly, with up to six months considered where appropriate. Weight-management reviews are generally three-monthly, with four months considered where appropriate. The doctor determines the individual schedule.
